Maria is the CEO and co-founder of Chartboost. Prior to founding Chartboost, Maria was an early employee at mobile game studio Tapulous (#1 music game on iPhone and acquired by The Walt Disney Company in 2010 to become Disney Mobile), where she oversaw product launches and marketing. Maria holds a B.A. in Business from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and the ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. She was named in Forbes Magazine “30 Under 30” in 2013 and 2014 as one of the top disruptors and innovators in marketing and gaming.
Sean Fannan is the CTO and co-founder of Chartboost, where he is responsible for the technical strategy and direction of the company. Previously, Sean was the first engineer at mobile games studio Tapulous, where he managed the original server architecture for all Tapulous apps. Sean built and scaled the backend platform for the hit mobile game franchise Tap Tap Revenge from 0 to 20M+ users and coordinated the engineering side of marketing deals with Microsoft, Groupon, and Fox, seeing the company through its acquisition to Disney. Fannan holds a BSCE degree from UCSB.
Pepe Agell leads Chartboost’s worldwide business efforts. In this role, he oversees the company’s business development, developer relations and support teams, to ensure the highest standard of service is provided to Chartboost’s partners around the world. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the UPC Barcelona and the ETH Zurich. Prior to joining Chartboost, Agell led product management and operations teams in both multinational (Hilti AG) and startups (3scale and Innovalley).
Rich heads finance and operations at Chartboost, including talent, HR, business intelligence, IT and workplace functions. He has a wide variety of financial and operational experience, most recently in entertainment and online media. Rich has a BS from NYU, a MFA from the University of Arizona and is a California CPA.
