As we accelerate into 2021 with significant transformation in our ad-tech industry, including both M&A activity and the advent of Apple’s ATT via iOS 14.5, I wanted to send a note expressing both gratitude and excitement.
I first wanted to extend thanks and appreciation to Sean Fannan and Maria Alegre, and the rest of the Chartboost Board of Directors for believing in me and appointing me as CEO of Chartboost in November 2020. I’ve been with Chartboost since late 2015, and I’m thrilled to continue the journey in this new capacity. I also wanted to extend thanks to Pepe Agell, who has bled Chartboost Green for and with us for nearly 10 years; we truly wish him the best as he enters the next phase of his career in what will no doubt be an exciting future. Lastly, I wanted to express tremendous gratitude to all of our partners and clients for continuing to stick with us as we’ve grown into a new era. I promise we’re doing everything we can to support you all better and to make meaningful contributions to your success!
That said, I’m very excited about Chartboost and the evolution we’ve been nurturing the past few years. We’ve been through and faced a great deal of challenges, and are continuing to build on our holistic, programmatic platform vision, serving mobile apps and beyond. We’re focused on improving our technology and automation in the efficient, precise building of scale that will benefit everyone with whom we’re serving and supporting.
I’m also lucky to be working alongside every employee at Chartboost, some of whom have been here many years and some who’ve just begun their journey with us, but all of whom are great contributors. Together, we’re working not only on the vision, but on expanding our leadership team to help us achieve greater success in the future. Over the past few years, as we’ve focused on rebuilding our company, we’ve been welcoming or internally promoting new leaders like Maggie Mesa, Julius Ramirez, Mark Buckalew, Doug Loyer, Nikhil Mishra, Brian Hansen, Kele Song, Etienne Goldstein, Amee Chou, Shelby Blueher and Sally Tai, just to name a few. And as the pandemic begins to abate, we all look forward to hitting the road to re-engage and see again, or even meet in person for the first time, all of our partners and clients. I can also guarantee that the next in-person Chartboost party will be unforgettable. 🙂
So for now, it’s onwards and upwards! We’re excited to continue building, improving, and successfully serving all of our partners and clients into 2021 and beyond, and of course, standing with you all as we face iOS 14.5 and ATT within the next month or two, and any other challenges that ad-tech will bear. For now, stay healthy, positive, and strong, and cheers to a great year!
