What are App Store Analytics: Active in Last 30 Days?

“App Store Analytics: Active in Last 30 Days” is a usage metric available to iOS developers. It measures the number of iOS devices that have registered at least one session with a developer’s app in the past 30 days.

According to Apple, a “session” happens when an app is used for two seconds or more at a time. If a user opens your app, then immediately closes it before it loads, Apple will NOT register a session. If later the same day, the user opens your app again, waits for it to load, then engages with your tool/game, Apple WILL register a session.

The “App Store Analytics: Active in Last 30 Days” metric will help you determine how engaged your app’s users are.
