What is App Store Analytics: Page Type?

Apple’s iOS 15 was full of updates, one of which was the addition of a new filter to the “Metrics” tab called “Page Type”.

This filter helps app developers and marketers learn where iOS users download their apps from.

There are three options —1. Product Page: Your app’s default or custom product pages. 2: Store Sheet: a Store sheet enabled with StoreKit. 3. None: Neither of the first two options. (This can happen, for example, if a user downloads your app directly from search.)

To use the “Page Type” filter, login to App Store Connect and navigate to the “Metrics” tab. Choose a date range and the “Page Type” filter. Then analyze the data. Please note: the “Page Type” filter is only available for Apps, not App Clips.
